My background
My Pilates journey began at the age of twelve during my pre-professional ballet training. I dreamt of being a prima ballerina but a career-ending injury changed my path. In my recovery I continued to study Pilates. I found it to be a therapeutic and healing practice. I went on to receive my Bachelors Degree from the University of California Los Angeles. From there I worked in Hollywood and New York City before realizing I wasn’t built to sit behind a desk. My professional calling was Pilates. I studied with Body Arts and Science International to complete my certification.
As a busy mom of two, I’ve learned that an effective workout doesn’t have to be an hour or longer. We all know that motherhood can leave little time for anything else. So, I’ve created workouts that can fit during that time of day that we, as moms, often long for -- naptime.
At the end of the day, I think Pilates should be available to all busy moms. It should be affordable, time-efficient and effective. I believe moms deserve to feel their best!
